The yen ebbed back toward net unchanged levels after firming during the Tokyo and early London sessions. Oil prices fell on news that the strike of facility workers in Kuwait will end today, though crude subsequently lifted off its lows, and Brent remains net higher on the week. This limited risk-off contagion, and help yen retreat some. USD-JPY recouped above 109.00, leaving a low of 108.83. Monday's low at 107.83 and last week's 17-month nadir at 107.63 remain some distance away.
