With the exception of USD-JPY, which faded under 109.40 on a softer risk-backdrop, the dollar was largely higher in N.Y. trade on Thursday. The ECB did not offer any surprises in its policy announcement or press conference, though EUR-USD stumble to 1.1270 lows, after topping at 1.1398. A case of sell-the-fact emerged following the overall dovish sounding ECB. USD-CAD reclaimed the 1.27 handle as WTI crude pulled back from five-month highs, while cable reversed its post-U.K. retail sales losses, before heading back toward session lows near 1.4310. U.S.
