EUR-JPY has come under singular pressure today, losing about 1%. The dollar legs are also down, with both EUR-USD and USD-JPY off by about 0.5% apiece. A still sour tone in equity markets appears to be propping up the yen, with most European bourses are in the red, while S&P 500 futures have given up gains and are presently showing a 0.7% decline (as of the late European AM). USD-JPY fell to a low of 118.82, with yesterday's 10-week low at 118.70 unchallenged so far. EUR-USD fell to a one-month low of 1.0754.
