A relatively quiet session saw the dollar largely drift in N.Y. trade on Friday, with narrow ranges in place for most dollar pairings. Aside from U. Michigan consumer sentiment data, which was softer than forecast, though had little market impact, the U.S. calendar was empty. Wall Street managed modest gains, while yields overall were a little lower. EUR-USD meandered between 1.1265 and 1.1307, as USD-JPY held over 111.35, though struggled over 111.60.
