Huawei shows off its razor thin phablet, the MediaPad X2

BARCELONA — While Huawei's biggest news at Mobile World Congress on Sunday is the arrival of its stunning smartwatch and two wearables aimed at business professionals, the Chinese manufacturer also dedicated stage time to unveil what it calls the world's slimmest 7-inch tablet


The MediaPad X2 comes in at 7.28 mm thick and features an all-metallic, sleek body. The 7-inch ultra 1200 x 1920 HD IPS screen goes all the way to the device's edges to make for an easy viewing experience.



The device comes with a 2.0GHz Kirin 930 ultra-octa chipse, a powerful 5,000 mAh battery (which gets about a day of battery life), a 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera — with a wide angle of 22mm, the company said the feature is perfect for "panorama selfies." Read more...
