Sony's music streaming service, Music Unlimited, never managed to gain traction. So in January, the company announced that it would partner with Spotify for a new service called PlayStation Music, which officially replaced Music Unlimited on Monday
The new service, which is available for PlayStations 3 and 4, went live in 41 countries, including the U.S., UK, Turkey, Ireland, Italy, France, Germany, Australia, Brazil and Mexico. It lets users connect to their Spotify accounts, stream music, access playlists — curated as well as their own — and search for artists and albums.
