The dollar posted modest gains versus the euro in N.Y. trade on Monday, though was ended up lower versus most of the major currencies. EUR-USD dropped to 1.1003 lows, a three-week base, and stayed heavy through the close. USD-JPY struggled to make gains over Friday's 113.38 highs, though did find buyers on dips into the 113.00 level. Cable bounced from multi-year lows of 1.4057 seen into the N.Y. open, rallying back to 1.4168 highs on good short covering interest. The initial slide of course, was related to Brexit concerns.
