The dollar was mostly lower in N.Y. trade on Monday, as another risk-off session weighed on sentiment. Oil prices dipped under $29, as equities took yet another dive, which saw USD-JPY fall to 15-month lows of 115.18. EUR-USD opened at session lows under 1.1090, and rallied to 1.1197 highs into the London close. Cable was fairly steady, though it managed to reclaim the 1.44 handle into the close. USD-CAD meanwhile, stayed over 1.3900 for much of the session, as oil prices stuck to near $30.
