EUR-USD ebbed back to near the 1.1000 level after earlier capping out at 1.1059, which was the highest level traded since late October. Most euro crosses have also seen a similar deflating price action. EUR-USD was showing a fractional 0.1% gain as of the early PM session in Europe, and EUR-JPY a similarly modest 0.15% rise. An above forecast German ZEW investor survey, which lifted to a 11.6 headline reading, had little impact.
