Genske, who is a senior at the University of California at Berkeley and a member of Kappa Alpha Order, knows a fraternity brother is not the typical spokesperson for this cause given the Greek system's historically troubled relationship with sexual assault.
Yale University, for example, recently sanctioned its Sigma Alpha Epsilon chapter after members violated the university’s sexual misconduct policy.
