Shades of the harsh winter weather that has plagued the East Coast for weeks touched down in Dallas this weekend, as ice reportedly forced the cancellation of nearly 1,000 flights at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) on Saturday
The troublesome conditions at one of the United States' busiest airports comes shortly after similar weather-related travel issues at DFW earlier this week, which were caused by a separate winter storm. On Friday, 5,000 people were reportedly forced to spend the night at the airport due to cancelled flights.
