The dollar moved mostly lower in N.Y. trade on Monday, as risk appetite dried up amid another commodity rout. WTI crude fell to nearly seven-year lows of 37.51/bbl, which knocked Wall Street sharply lower. Treasury yields corrected lower as well. EUR-USD posted lows of 1.0797 into the open, and the pairing made its way up to 1.0960 highs after the London close, before stabilizing. USD-JPY was resilient considering risk-off conditions, though slipped from 123.46 highs, to 123.20 lows in morning dealings. Cable was marginally softer, though recovered over 1.5070 from 1.5045 lows.
