Moderate dollar gains has been the main theme today, inversing yesterday's pattern. The greenback is showing net declines of up to 0.35% against other G7 currencies, ranging from near unchanged versus the Canadian dollar to a 0.35% decline against the pound, which has managed a pre-Christmas rebound following a run of hefty declines over the last week or two, and today looks set to see Cable post its first up day since Dec-11.
